What is a Russian Bear dog/ Caucasian Shepherds/ Ovcharka or Baskhan

They are a Livestock guardian dog or a body guard. They Originate from Georgia, formerly a part of Russia. They are used as livestock guardians for sheep and goats. Russians have also used them as prison guards and body guards.

The three qualities most sought after in Livestock Guardians are trustworthiness, attentiveness and protectiveness—trustworthy in that they do not roam off and are not aggressive with the livestock, attentive in that they are situation ally aware of threats by predators, and protective in that they will attempt to drive off predators.
